There truly is no better pre-school setting in our area!

Not long ago, we asked you and your child to complete a questionnaire about life at Tollerton Playgroup in our annual survey. This asked about what the children like and don’t like doing, what they do if they are worried, how they are kept safe and what happens when they have done something well.

It also included an area for parent comments. We use this feedback to assess any needs, and we always work hard to make improvements based on what you tell us.

This year, we had a 63% response rate, with an overwhelming number of positive comments from parents, carers and grandparents.

There were also some absolutely cracking soundbites from the little ones too! Here are some of the highlights…

“Such a wonderful, relaxed learning environment with a wide range of activities available to the children.”

“I like painting with my hands because I like pencils, colouring and glue.”

“The level of creative sessions, themes and celebration of all religious festivals is highly commendable.”

“I eat the sand!!!”

“Love that they have so much outdoor time and especially love all the craft creations that come home.”

“Playing with lego and dinosaurs… it’s good!”

Some of you will know that Playgroup has been running in the village for 53 years, and many of the children who attended then are the parents of the children who attend now!

We’re so proud to work with families in our community from one generation to the next.

Our good reputation is very much based on word of mouth and positive reports by parents, some of which have been captured via our survey.
