Playgroup remains open during lockdown

Dear Parents / Carers

You'll no doubt have seen the Prime Minister's press conference this evening confirming Early Years settings can remain open during the national lockdown. This is despite primary and secondary schools having to close (for all children apart from keyworker and vulnerable children) until after the February half term. We would like to confirm that Playgroup will remain open as per Government guidance. All the precautions we emailed about last Friday remain in place, with staff being extra vigilant and taking all necessary precautions to keep our children / families safe.

We of course understand that parents / carers may be concerned and might wish to keep their child home during the lockdown. We absolutely understand if this is the case. Please may we ask that if you do choose to do this, you email us asap to let us know. It is important that we can continue to ensure staffing levels appropriately reflect the numbers of children in attendance to keep everyone as safe as possible.
