Dates

We break up for Easter on Friday 3rd April and re open on Monday 20th April.

Questionnaire

Attached to this newsletter is our annual questionnaire, which we are hoping you and your child will help us with.

Ofsted, when undertaking their inspections will ask “ What is it like to be a child here”

We have put together a short list of questions for you to talk to your child about, and for you to record their comments ! There is also space for you to add your own comments . This will help us to evaluate and improve our provision. Thank you in advance.

Topic

Our next topic is Growing and Changing.

We encourage the children to bring items, pictures, books etc related to the topic for Show and Tell each day. Please discourage your child from bringing toys !

Week 1 : 24th ~ 28th Feb Growing and Changing in plants

Week 2 ; 2nd ~ 6th March Growing and Changing in people

Week 3 : 9th ~ 13th March Changes in time(seasons, day/night)

Week 4 : 16th ~ 20th March Growing and Changing in animals

Week 5 : 23rd ~ 27th March The Easter Story

Week 6 : 30th Mar ~ 3rd April Eggs

Places/30 hour funding

Can you let us know of any changes to your child place for the Summer term as soon as possible please, spaces are filling up quickly !!!

If you are claiming the 30hour funding, can I remind you to ensure you update your code every 3 months please. We have had several codes expire recently !!!! If you are claiming for the Summer Term you will need to apply before 30th March. Any queries please see Tracey .

Easter Egg Raffle

Our annual Easter Egg Raffle will take place at the end of this Half Term – Watch out for details !!!!!!

Plastic Bottles

We are on the scrounge for sturdy plastic drinks bottle (pure fruit juice type are ideal) We need around 60- 70 !!!! to make a greenhouse. Thank you so much for all the donations so far… keep them coming………….
