Confirmed case - advice sought - Playgroup remains open

Dear Parents

We wanted to let you know that a member of staff has tested positive for Covid-19. She was last in work on Thursday of last week, and had no symptoms. Her symptoms began on Monday (yesterday) and were very mild, at which point she was tested and the positive result came back today.

We have spoken to the Department for Education as per our protocols, and they have advised that the member of staff remains in self-isolation for two weeks. Because she was not showing any symptoms when she was last at work, they have advised that Playgroup does not need to close and no further action is necessary.

Please remain vigilant, and we will keep you informed if the situation changes. Please speak to any member of staff if you have any questions.
